1957 BMW 503 Coupé. Ch. No. 69181

An exceedingly rare opportunity to acquire one of just three RHD fixed head coupés. Family ownership 1961–2010. The sister car to the mechanically identical BMW 507. All alloy 3.2-litre 160hp V8 with correct specification twin Zenith downdraught carburettors, torsion- bar suspension, front Dunlop disc brakes with servo, electro-hydraulic pillarless window opening. The vehicle is in good order mechanically with fresh differential, axle and rear suspension rebuild. Compression ratio raised to 9:1, complemented with inlet porting, manifold and carburettor improvements. Vehicle is road worthy and has made two trouble-free recent continental trips. Rare ZF 5S-17 five speed gearbox available.
